McGill University officially founded in 1821 by bequest (James McGill) a prominent Montreal merchant from Scotland, is one of Canada’s best-known institutions of higher learning and one of the leading universities in the world. Made up of two campuses, 11 faculties, some 300 programs of study, and 39,500 internationally diverse students. The University also partners with four affiliated teaching hospitals to graduate over 1,000 health care professionals each year. Known for attracting students from across Canada, the United States, and around the world, McGill offers degrees and diplomas in over 300 fields of study mostly in Arts, Science, Medicine, Engineering, and Management.

McGill Condo Leases (8-months, 12-months)

McGill’s main campus is situated in downtown Montreal at the foot of Mount Royal. Condo 2037 Clark is within walking distance (see map). However, those who prefer public transportation can take the metro (Saint-Laurent metro just two minutes away) and be at McGill in just two stops.

McGill students typically begin university in September, so if you are looking to rent a condo, reserving early is strongly recommended. Rental units around McGill are usually older (or really old), and newer units such as Condo 201 Charlotte or Condo 2037 Clark are trickier to come by. Some landlords ask for a 12-month lease, however we recognize that students are often from out of town and we can accept 8-month leases as well.
